It's been a YEAR.
I poured out a good deal of my heart in yesterday's post where I declared that I'm not setting any goals for 2018. So freeing!
Today is focused on what you liked this year---err, what Google liked. It was the year of yummy desserts, which is fitting since it's also the year I began talking more about food freedom and intuitive eating. I was excited to see that some of the most viewed content in 2017 was related to those deeper topics rather than being all recipes.
The most popular Hummusapien recipe ever is the Easy Vegan Lasagna I posted in 2016, which is fitting since the secret ingredient is hummus. Have you made it yet? Quite the keeper! I'd love to know what your favorite blog post or recipe was from this whirlwind of a year, so feel free to leave a comment if you feel so inclined. Now here's a peak into the past:

I just wanted to say that I just reread I Have Been Changed for Good and I Drank Unicorn Frappucinos... and wow.
Not only are you a seriously incredible writer (I mean, I always knew that, but I had like goosebumps), but everything you're saying is precisely what I believe in, now more than ever before. Thank you for everything you do, always. And seriously, if the entire world read those two, I think a whole lot of problems could be solved.

Nicole! You have such a kind soul. Thank you for your encouragement!! Posting my beliefs about food philosophy is not always easy, but things like this make it SO worth it. Hugs!!
