Happy November, friends! How are we? Thriving? Surviving? I just published all of my gift guides for this year and I'm so excited!
Charlie and his ski bum knit sweater say hi.

Lastly, for anyone new around here, I just released my signature meal planning guide PREPPED with loads of inspiration, four weeks of meal ideas and grocery lists, exclusive recipes, and beyond. Consider this your ticket to sanity around the holiday season!
Lovely Meals
We had friends over for dinner and did a fun Mediterranean night! I got delish pickles, pita, and pomegranate molasses from a local Mediterranean market.
I served grilled yogurt marinated chicken with cilantro mint sauce, lemon potatoes, tahini yogurt sauce I'll be posting soon with pita and veg, and pan-seared halloumi over arugula drizzle with pom molasses, flaky salt, EVOO, and pistachios. A dream feast!
I can't lie...everyday for breakfast I crave eggs and toast (cooked in my beloved fresh extra virgin olive oil, of course). Silver Hills is my go-to bread right now. Served with some egg bites!
Max helped me make these no bake chocolate covered pumpkin bars and they were such a hit!
Another night when we hosted friends I made this jambalaya (cooked the rice in the Instant Pot, didn't use okra nor jalapeño) and it was delish. I got this amazingly nostalgic frozen garlic bread that I will most definitely buy again.
Cozying up with creamy chicken and broccoli soup for lunch.
My vegan lasagna never gets old! Truly a staple dinner around here.
I made poke bowls for lunch that were soooo good. I bought marinated poke ahi tuna which made it super easy. To make, I cooked sushi rice and added a splash of seasoned rice vinegar. Then I served it with cucumber, pickled ginger, green onions, sesame seeds, and a soy sauce/toasted sesame oil drizzle on top. Divine!!
Have you made my foolproof no bake energy bars yet? Seriously heaven right out of the freezer and Max adores them, too.
This turkey meatloaf was a bit hit served with mashed cauliflower potatoes and salad.
I've been making Charlie little pancakes for breakfast that he's obsessed with. In the Nutribullet I blend ½ cup old fashioned oats, 1 overripe banana, 2 eggs, ½ tsp cinnamon, splash of vanilla, and ½ cup whole milk ricotta cheese or cottage cheese. Use a 1 tbsp measure to make little pancakes and cook a couple minutes per side.
Can't stop with my legit the best healthy pumpkin muffins with chocolate chips!!
I made a broccoli and chicken sausage pasta with parmesan, garlic, lemon zest, and EVOO that I can't wait to share! We are loving this Brami pasta, which is semolina and lupini beans. Sooo much better than traditional bean pasta IMO.
Things I'm Loving Lately
If you don't follow me on LTK, head on over! I post tons of stuff I'm loving regularly 🙂
- The Goddess of Warsaw is an absolute must-read. Lisa Barr is incredible, gripping me with each page and completely captivating my heart with her characters. My grandfather escaped a concentration camp after losing his entire family in the Holocaust. With few survivors left to tell their stories amidst growing hate and antisemitism around the world, it's never been more important to read these pieces of history. Even though I've read countless books on this theme, I learn something new every time that I carry with me.
- I've had this nonstick stainless steel pan for a little over a year now and I couldn't love it more. We use it daily for eggs, pancakes, and beyond. The key to maintaining the integrity of nonstick cookware is never using cooking spray (we use oil or butter), keeping the heat medium or lower, and handwashing.
- This little vacuum has been a game changer for cleaning my car. There is no satisfaction quite like getting crumbs out of my kids' carseats. Also great for the couch.
- We needed new everyday drinking glasses and I ordered these. I love the fluted detail and that they stack!
- I have this cozy knit button down in gray and dark green. It's a go-to with jeans or leggings! Extremely comfy.
- The Play Kit is a whopping 27% off right now for Lalo's best sale of the year! Max sits here daily whether he's coloring or having a snack. We have the sage chairs. This would be an amazing holiday gift! All their silicone plates and tableware that we use for both kids is also on major saale.
- Anyone else not own steak knives? Butter knives were not cutting it so I just bought these oak ones and they're beautiful.
- This swing is the gift that keeps on giving. My kids fight over it and it's always a hit when we have friends over. Amazing for when it's freezing out! (My husband is not crazy handy LOL and this was easy for him to hang.)
- How did I live before this eyeliner? I was never a liquid eyeliner person but now I put this on my top lid everyday and it's the nest. It goes on super smoothly and lasts from 5:30 am when I put it on til I go to sleep!
Have the best Thanksgiving!
