Description

5-minute strawberry chocolate smoothie with chia seeds for a fiber boost! Made in the blender with frozen strawberries, cacao, and sweetened with dates. No banana!


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 large Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 1/4 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Instructions

  1. If your dates aren't soft, soak them in hot water for 5 minutes prior to blending. Place all ingredients in a blender (I used my nutribullet) and blend until smooth. Sweeten to taste with pure maple syrup, more dates, or stevia if desired.
