- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup oat flour (or old-fashioned oats ground into powder)
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed (or chocolate plant protein powder)
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/4 cup cacao powder (or cocoa powder)
- 1/2 cup natural salted peanut butter*
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup**
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp water, if needed to moisten dough
Instructions
- Combine almond flour, oat flour, flax, salt and cacao in a large mixing bowl.
- Add peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla and water. Use your hands to mix together until a smooth dough forms.
- Roll into balls. Store in the refrigerator.
Notes
*If your peanut butter is unsalted, add 1/4 tsp salt.
**If your protein is sweet, you can reduce maple syrup to 1/4 cup.
