Description

My favorite bright, creamy tahini sauce packed with green goodness! Made with fresh parsley, lemon, jalapeño, and garlic, you'll crave it over and over again. It makes eggs and avocado toast next level and brings fish or veggie tacos to life. Such a vibrant and versatile sauce that gets better with age!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 1 jalapeño, white veins and seeds removed
  • 1/2 large lemon, juiced (about 2 tbsp)
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
  • 3-4 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Place olive oil, parsley, jalapeño, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, salt, and 3 tbsp water in a blender (I use my Nutribullet; I like adding tahini towards the end so it doesn't stick to the bottom).
  2. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust, adding more salt and/or lemon juice, or water if needed. The flavors should really pop!
