Description
I crave this superbly thick and creamy Avocado Smoothie with frozen blueberries, half an avocado, dates, and vanilla all year long. This banana-free blend packs nearly 8g plant protein and 11g fiber. A filling and flavorful breakfast made in the blender in 5 minutes! Dairy free.

- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 soft pitted Medjool dates
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 2 ice cubes
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. I like to top with something crunch for texture, like cacao nibs or O's cereal, plus a drizzle of peanut butter!
Notes
For extra nutrition, you can add 1/4 cup frozen lose leaf spinach, 1 cup fresh spinach, and/or 1 scoop protein powder (use only 1 date if using protein powder.
You can also use frozen avocado and omit the ice!
