Three posts in a row hayyyyyy!
I had to change up my breakfast yesterday morning in preparation for today’s news segment on hydration. I whipped up a strawberry banana smoothie with a little bit of cucumber, cacao, brown rice protein, and power greens. It sounds super weird but it tasted pretty delish! The one I make for the segment will most definitely not have the cacao addition…
I started craving hummus and sweet potatoes right afterwards, soooo I ate hummus and sweet potatoes right afterwards.
The people I babysit for bought me two pounds of hummus because ya know, #hummusapien. Such fabulous people! Oh and golden sweet potatoes are the best thing since sliced bread.
Lunch was my mango, wheat berry, and arugula salad with creamy cilantro lime vinaigrette. It gets dreamier and dreamier every time I make it! I used lemon juice since I didn’t have limes on hand.
I didn’t have much time to snack, but I did snag a cranberry vanilla no-bake bite from Alchemy before I headed home.

When I got home from Body Pump at 7:45pm, I felt like a raging hunger beast. I sadly had no vegetables prepped so I quickly sliced up some mushrooms, peppers, and zucchini that I got in my Green Bean Delivery bin this week. Then I threw a leftover broccoli & kale salmon burger in the oven and reheated sweet potatoes that I had roasted a couple days ago.
I spooned some curried chickpea salad on my plate for good measure. AHHH-MAZING. I love filling my plate with tons of veggies so I can eat tons of food.
After dinner I noshed on some beyond tasty dark chocolate…
…and some leftover stove-top popcorn. This is what happens when you don’t eat dinner till 8:30pm. Snackity pants!
