Holy moly, time sure does fly when you’re having ALL THE FUN.
Seriously. How is it already April? It’s basically already May. It’s basically already my birthday, AKA birthday bash at Whole Foods. Get excited. More on that later!
After a sweat sesh at Barre3, I slurped down a big smoothie made with all the usual suspects, including frozen blueberries, vanilla extract, cacao powder, Skoop brown rice protein, a date, frozen spinach, and lots of almond milk. PS I get asked all the time what blender I use for smoothies. The answer is my beloved nutribullet!
Then I had some serious savory cravings so I noshed on Finn crisps with hummus and hot sauce.
And then I had a salted chocolate chia popcorn ball because ya know, it was just one of those days. I blame it on the rain.
GOOD PICTURE ALERT.
Lunch was these beyond heavenly arugula, wheatberry, and mango salad with creamy cilantro lime dressing. You guys are gonna DIE for this one. Keep your eyes peeled for the recipe tomorrow!
I snacked on some almonds and a sliced apple with cinnamon in the car. Can we talk about how cute AND comfy these Beyond Yoga pants are? I got them on sale at Barre3 and they’re my favorite thing ever.
I was invited for dinner at a friend’s house and everything was absolutely perfect. I forgot how nice it is to have someone else do the cooking! That pretty much happens next to never. I had a mix of regular and whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce, sweet potatoes, caesar salad, and a fabulous glass of vino.
I went back for more sweet potatoes plus a big hunk of baguette with brie cheese.
Dessert was vegan chocolate fudge cake (!!!) from Whole Foods Upper Arlington plus some decaf coffee with almond milk. I felt like I was dreaming.
Thanks to the wine, I was feeling extra snackity when I got home. Strawberries and popcorn to the rescue.
Never forget that there’s ALWAYS time for chocolate cake and wine. Multiple glasses of wine.
