    What I Ate Wednesday

    Published Mar 30, 2016 · Modified Nov 8, 2021 · by Alexis Joseph · 26 Comments

I actually took like nine and a half minutes yesterday morning trying to make my breakfast look pretty. What can I say, I'm a slave the the 'gram.

    breakfast

Into the bullet went the usual Blueberry Cacao suspects, including frozen bloobs (not to be confused with frozen boobs), frozen spinach, chia seeds, spirulina, Vega Sport vanilla (love this stuff post-workout AND it makes the bowl taste like legit cake), and unsweetened vanilla cashew milk. I topped it with fresh strawberries, cacao nibs, and coconut.  It was beyond dreamy with the slightly tart strawbs! Check out my Shop page for my fave smoothie products.

    coffee

Alchemy Coffee is the best coffee. Always coffee.

I made a big batch of Easy Vegetable Teriyaki Stir Fry and Tempeh and Kale Enchilada Casserole on Sunday so I've been rotating those for lunch.

    lunch

I also snacked on cucumbers with guacamole (love those little Wholly Guacamole packs!), an apple, and a kiwi.

Snackage was a Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cup with a few more sips of coffee because you really cannot beat that combo.

    sack

During our meeting at The Crest, I sipped on some kombucha and ate my friend's unpictured leftover salad.

    tea

Dinner was Harvest Pizza with some gal pals, once again. Tooooooo good. It's such a dream living just a walk away!

    salad

We shared the chopped salad, veggie pizza with extra jalapeños and arugula, and a couple glasses of wine, duh.

    pizzaq

    Happy hump day, precious chickpeas!

That salad looks awesome! Of course the pizza doesn't like half bad either...

PS. How many times have you written frozen boobs and not bloobs by accident?! lol. I would do it every time!

percocet…There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing wil…

for drawing. At least not hand drawing, as in Pentel on trace. In a brief tour of both undergraduate and graduate studios, I saw exactly one student who had pinned up concept sketches. Now, I wasn’t so happy. Laptops were everywhere, and the extremely accomplished digital model progeny of those laptops covered the walls, but I couldn’t help but wonder where the crinkly, smudged, worked-over ideas lived.”
