    What I Ate Wednesday

    Published Nov 11, 2015 · Modified Apr 13, 2019 · by Alexis Joseph · 13 Comments

I ate reeeeeeeally, REALLY well yesterday. All the yummy food every which where.

    salad2

I dedicated the morning to some good old R&D at Alchemy (recipe development, yo!) which always makes me feel all kinds of inspired.

Pre-recipe testing involved my usual morning mix of frozen wild blueberries, frozen spinach, Vega chocolate protein, hemp seeds, cacao powder, and almond milk.

    breakfast

I snacked on plenty of Detox Kale Salad and Asian Carrot Noodles throughout the morning. Basically I had way too much fun with the spiralizer. The Asian Carrot Noodles may just be my favorite salad to date. Weeee!

    lunch

Lunch was our soup of the day made with black beans, cabbage, bok choy, peppers, onions, coconut milk, and tons of spices.

    kale quinoa

Aaaaaand I couldn't say no to a Kale & Quinoa salad drizzled with pesto.

    nobake2

Arman dropped off fifty three million of his fantastical not-yet-blogged-about treats for my face's pleasure a couple days ago, so I snacked on an amazing flourless banana bread muffin and a "crack blondie." When he posts them, be smart and make them. Along with everything else he posts.

    muffin

I had dinner with girlfriends at one of my favorite German Village spots, Harvest Pizza! We all had chopped salads with veggies and chickpeas along with veggie pizza.  Are you surprised? It was all incredible, per usual.

    pizza

So I have a confession to make. There's a new man in my life and he makes my little chickpea heart beat a million miles a minute. Mainly because I can open his fridge and snack on roasted vegetables dipped in hummus.

    veggies

    Perfect much? What a gem.
