    What I Ate Wednesday: 11-27-2019

    Published Nov 27, 2019 Β· Modified Feb 14, 2022 Β· by Alexis Joseph Β· 10 Comments

Well hello there, friends! Is everyone all ready for the big day tomorrow?!

I'm headed to Cleveland for some much needed chill time. I'm excited to lay low with family, high school friends, and of course, delish food!

    Breakfast

Overnight steel cut oatmeal with almond butter, diced apple, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a pinch of kosher salt. It tasted like a caramel apple!

    Lunch

I didn't have much on hand so lunch was a frozen Amy's burrito with hummus and avocado, which never disappoints. I was pretty hungry so I made a side of scrambled eggs and had some raspberries, too.

    Snack

Jeff and I have been sharing these delish snack plates with walnuts, sharp cheddar, and diced apple or asian pear. All the flavors and textures in one!

    Dinner

The most divine Friendsgiving spread! We had Vegan Green Bean Casserole, Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes with Garlic and Cream Cheese, Spinach and Mushroom Stuffing,Β Sweet Potato Casserole, and Orange Bourbon Cranberry Sauce.

We had this lentil loaf for the main and it was fabulous! Love that it makes two loaves. And how cute is that wood salad bowl?!

    Dessert

Pumpkin pie bars for the win.

    Style Inspo

As far as coats go, I ended up keeping this hooded down puffer one in XS and I love it. It's the perfect mix of stylish, functional, and comfortable and it's super flattering.

Loving this yellow turtleneck that's 40% off.

Super cute high-waisted jeans (love them with this wrap front body suit) on sale for $44 and cozy fleece for half off!

So this is my favorite ever face lotion (insanely soft and smooth), but does anyone have an intense hand lotion they'd recommend? We're on the hunt for a new one!

I HIGHLY recommend this Aveeno cream: https://www.target.com/p/aveeno-cracked-skin-relief-moisturizing-cica-balm-with-oat-11oz/-/A-75558408
I've dealt with dry hands for years, so bad to the point they crack and bleed. This hand cream has saved them.

Neutrogena hand cream is my fave! Pretty strong for super chapped hands (which I get easily this time of year). It's the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream, Fragrance-Free one .

I love Amy's burritos! I've had one with eggs, avo, and hot sauce too. So good! Your Friendsgiving spread looks phenomenal as well! I hope you have a wonderful trip, Thanksgiving, and feel well-rested after time with friends and family!

Re: hand lotion - if you have a Trader Joe's near you, I swear by their ultra moisturizing hand cream. And right now they have a ginger one that smells heavenly.
