We got our engagement photos back!

Sweet and savory! This was actually our breakfast from over the weekend but I wanted to highlight it since it’s pretty typical for us to do pancakes and eggs on slower mornings.
I haven’t been great about making separate lunches (feeling this Creamy Broccoli & Cauliflower Soup for nexe week!) so if we don’t have leftovers from dinner, I’ll grab something while I’m out.
This was a lovely Brassica bowl with lentils and rice, hummus, baba, and tons of different cooked, pickled, and raw veg. My fave!
Later I snacked on a chocolate yogurt. This flavor is divine.
Afternoon pick me up featuring a homemade almond milk cappuccino (I use the Simple Truth unsweetened vanilla one from Kroger and it froths like a dream).
I made a random curry using a masala sauce I had on hand and beefed it up with additional frozen veggies, chickpeas, coconut milk, and spices.
We paired it with brown rice in the Instant Pot plus sweet corn and pole beans from our Yellowbird CSA. I’m gonna miss this corn!
Holy moly, I whipped of the most AMAZING tahini brownies last night. The batter was suuuuper sticky and I was worried but they came out phenomenal. So intensely chocolatey! I used Simple Truth tahini which is really drippy.
Once they’d cooled for 20 minutes, I put them in the freezer until they were nice and cool and easy to cut.
I ordered this sunflower dress for an event and I’m super excited about it!

In sweater weather news (HA, I wish!), I have this sweater in burnt orange from last year and it’s heaven. Highly recommend!
