During our shoots (the above one is us shooting my Pumpkin Bars), I’d laugh harder with her than I had with anyone in my entire life. Like, sometimes we’d be on the floor. Autumn’s energy, epic sense of humor, and positivity radiates. She has a unique sense of confidence and lightheartedness about her that I’ve always adored. Autumn found out last week that she has a brain tumor. Her surgery is scheduled for next week. Northstar brunch on Saturday before we headed to Youngstown for a wedding. I had the Big Burrito in a bowl with over easy eggs, plenty of hot sauce, and coffee.
Love this guy.
The usual overnight steel cut oatmeal with berries, almond butter, mulberries, and cinnamon. I take it with me in a glass Pyrex to Alchemy Grandview and heat it up whenever I have some time to sit in between customers in the morning.

All the grilled things! We just got this new grill and we’re getting plenty of experience with it. I made shrimp using this recipe and also grilled up sliced sweet potatoes (amazing), peppers, local asparagus from our CSA.
The second night we had leftovers alongside these yummy balsamic sautéed mushrooms, romaine salad dressed with lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper, brown basmati cooked in a mix of coconut milk, water, and salt. It was the best rice ever!
Tacos in organic blue corn tortillas with avocado cream (avocado, lime juice, water, salt), cabbage collard slaw, salsa, and hot sauce plus a big salad on the side.
Toast with hummus, za’atar, purple kraut, and micro greens.
KIND dark chocolate nuts and sea salt bar. Best road trip snack!

A giant smoothie I whipped up for me and Jeff when we got home from Canton on Sunday afternoon. I packed it full with frozen banana, pineapple, cherries, blueberries, kale, peanut butter, hemp seeds, and almond milk.
