Why helloooooo.
I got back from FNCE late Monday night and I’m STILL exhausted. So much walking and talking! This week we’ve got an eclectic mix of Columbus and Chicago eats that’s sure to tantalize your taste buds.
In case you missed the new style of What I Ate Wednesday, be sure to check out week one and two.
Breakfast
Smoked salmon tartare with lemony greens, rye croissant, and coffee from Pistacia Vera.
The best blueberry muffin from Stauf’s with snickerdoodle coffee + almond milk. I came home and ate two scrambled eggs and then some Mary’s Gone Crackers dipped in Sunbutter because it was a hungry kind of mornin’.
Mediterranean Vegetable Quiche. Crying that it’s gone.
The yummiest avocado toast on whole wheat sourdough from Le Pain + an almond milk latte. We also shared a blueberry muffin. All the carbs please!
Pancakes with shaved dark chocolate, orange cashew cream and rosemary syrup…recipe testing for the second Alchemy.
Lunch
A big random salad from the Goddess and the Grocer.
TRISM’s amazing new Soul Bowl.
Dinner
The best tomato soup + a grilled cheese from CH distillery.
A loaded veggie bowl with hummus and baba ganoush from Brassica.
Enchiladas with randomly added Tasty Bite bombay potatoes, drained canned tomatoes, and a can of drained black beans to make a casserole topped with avocado and hot sauce.
Snacks + Dessert
Big bowls of Puffins! Yesterday night I had a hugh jass plate of enchiladas, salad, and a pumpkin cookie but I was still hungry. Feedin’ the beast!
The best chocolate pecan cake of my liiiiiife from Bad Hunter.
My Pumpkin Donuts with Salted Chocolate Glaze!
Dark chocolate Hershey’s kisses that I forgot to photograph.
Dark chocolate chip peanut butter Perfect Bar.
Cocktails!!!
Now go eat something yummy.
That Perfect Bar flavor is my FAVE! So, soooo good 🙂
That dark chocolate chip peanut butter Perfect Bar is INCREDIBLE! As is Le Pain avocado toast; my love! That pecan cake looks absolutely otherworldly, and every time you post that Stauf’s muffin, it makes me want it so bad! So glad you had a great time at FNCE!
The Stauf’s muffin gets me every time. Nothing like a classic coffee shop muffin!
Your eats always have me drooling. Looks like it was such a delicous week (:
Traveling always makes a week of eats that much more exciting! “Twas dreamy.
I’m in love with your grey and silver blanket! It looks super cozy.
Such incredible food!! I am so jealous I missed FNCE…maybe I can attend next year. Do you happen to know where it will be held? I love that you honored your hunger. Sometimes our appetites are revved up and sometimes they’re lower. But you took care of yourself beautifully. 🙂 Lastly, I love that polka dotted top!
It’s in DC next year!!
Thanks! I just looked & it’s on my wedding anniversary weekend again. ? I’m not sure I’ll be able to attend, but we’ll see!
You certainly know how to choose delicious meals! Your bfasts are on point. And those perfect bars are the best snacks in the world!
My intuition with food never leads me astray! I’ve been craving and eating all the most mouth watering things!
I legitimately can’t identify any of the foods in that soul bowl, but oh my goodness it looks yummy!
Deets are on my insta! It was a bowl of my DREAMS.
Every time I read your Wednesday posts, I get so hungry!
Those donuts are to die for.
