    Vegan Thanksgiving Recipes

    Published Nov 12, 2015 · Modified Jan 27, 2022 · by Alexis Joseph · 306 Comments

Oh don’t you wish there was a day that was dedicated to warm and fuzzy feels, happiness, and all the eating?

    healthy-vegan-thanksgiving-recipes

Ummm there is. There are just 14 (FOURTEEN!) days left until the biggest eating day of the year and let’s be real...we are ever so pumped to stuff our face holes. Hashtag no shame. Hashtag Thanksgiving.

Now, we all know the story (at least, the Charlie Brown version). In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue. He discovered America, and then years later the pilgrims sailed over on the Mayflower. They settled, and then the Native Americans helped them prepare a giant feast of superfood salads, sweet potato hummus, lentil loafs, maple-balsamic brussels sprouts, and paleo pumpkin bars. Right? Absofreakinglutely.

Okay, fine. Maybe the Pilgrims weren’t feasting on tempeh and delicately spiced organic gluten-free vegetables, but you can bet your holiday hiney that if they had been, they wouldn’t regret a damn thing. What I have for you here are 24 ways to keep your holiday drool-worthy, but not heart attack-worthy. No thank you, cardiovascular disease.

Put a twist on your Turkey day that that your body will be thanking you for. From appetizers to entrees to desserts, I’ve got your healthy holiday season covered, and I’m not talking no tofurkey. These recipes are as mouth watering and sleep inducing as any stuffed turkey and cheesy casserole-laden feast (sans the extra saturated fats, MSG, refined sugar, and protein overload. So this year, nourish your body with some of these healthier options and yeah, help yourself to thirds. Happy Thanksgiving!
