Before Kendall gets into the grocery goodies, be sure to holler at me if you’re going to FNCE this weekend! I’d love to meet up!
I am so freaking happy that it’s Fall, that the leaves are changing, that football Saturdays are in full force, that grocery stores are filled with pumpkin everything, and that I’m here talking to you beautiful people again for this month’s Grocery Store Finds (check out last month’s edition here). I could go on with that list for a really long time, but I think I’m just extra jazzed because today is our first day of Fall Break. Weee!
Confession #1: I drafted this post a few days ago. Then I ate two of the products that I hadn’t tried yet and HATED them. They shall go unnamed, but I ran back to the grocery store right quick to find two delish replacements. We only give you chickpeas the best!
Confession #2: I am retyping this post in a car filled with five girls on the way to Nashville, basically to relive Alexis’ dream getaway.
These seven grocery store finds are super yum, fun, and affordable. Go out and get them and let us know how you like them when you do!
Sweet potato fries are the root vegetable god’s gift to us mere mortals. I found these Savory Spice Sweet Potato Fries from Alexia a few weeks ago on a late night Whole Foods procrastination run. I couldn’t look at my notes one more second, so why not look at food, amiright? I’m hooked on any and all Alexia sweet potato fries, but the spices on these have my heart.
I’ve been hearing our Chickpea Queen Alexis raving about Natural Sunflower Butter for over a year now and I have to admit it sounded a little…weird. I finally gave in and bought my self a jar and HOLY MOLY I think I’m addicted. Slather it on you toast, rice cakes, fruit, veggies, dog, everything!
Okay I’m not a huge soy eater, but every study and nutritionist says that one serving of soy a day is totally fine (check out Hummusapien’s recent article on soy article here). These vegan Italian Sausages from Tofurky are pretty much amazing. I slice them up and sauté them on the stove until slightly crispy.
I know I had Boom Chicka Pop in September Grocery Store Finds, but imma bring it back real quick and shout out this Pumpkin Spice Kettle Corn. Friends, it is Fall in a crunchy sweet popped kernel. Angie’s kills it.
I didn’t really get into the whole kombucha craze until this summer. Crazy, right? I was sick and my mom basically bought out Trader Joe’s of this GT’s Gingerade Kombucha. The flavor is sweet with a bite, and it’s weird to say but I can feel the benefits it has on my digestive track right away! Definitely would buy again.
If you know me at all you know this girl can’t ever say no to peanut butter and chocolate and if they’re combined, I get a little emotional. When I saw these organic and fair trade Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups from Theo on sale at Whole Foods I couldn’t say no. Go buy these now!
These Plain Jayne’s Sweet Potato Chips from One Potato Two Potato are the best sweet tater chips I’ve ever had! Big thanks to my dad for coming home with a Costco-size bag for me to take to school. Wally, you’re the real MVP.
