HI foodie friends! Natalie here with lots of seasonal finds from my latest grocery store adventure.
Before we get into the fall food excitement, can we talk about just how fast time is flying by?! Like how are we halfway through October? I need a time machine to make time slow down. Or a little robot to do my homework. Wouldn’t it be nice to have something do all your work while you watch thirty nine episodes of Friends? A girl can dream.
While we don’t have those magical things yet, we DO have Trader Joe’s! From the amazing employees, cute little coffee samples and the way they put pumpkin into every single product, going there is nothing short of an adventure. It’s important to note that while my cart is always packed with fresh fruits and veggies and whole grains, we use these Grocery Store Finds posts to showcase the fun, not-so-every-day foods that nourish the soul and make life worth living.
Last week my friend Katie and I met up at Trader Joe’s to hang out because that’s the kind of people we are. We perused the aisles and found up a bunch of goodies that will not only get you in the fall spirit, but also take little to no time to prepare. Talk about fall magic!
My coffee obsession is quickly turning into a chai obsession. This smoothie has good fats and protein to pack a punch into my favorite afternoon pick me up.
I’m legit in love with cereal. I don’t usually love Cheerios, but the addiction of pumpkin spice changes the game!
Having frozen meals on hand is perfect for the times you want a yummy dinner but have zero time. Leave it to Trader Joe’s to find a way to sneak pumpkin into pizza!
This seasonal pasta sauce caught my eye right when I walked in the store. I typically don’t gravitate toward savory pumpkin things, but lately I’m all about changing things up and branching out!
What good is a can of sauce without some amazing pasta? These noodles look so fresh and I know that they’ll come in handy when I need a quick, comforting dinner.
I know I’m not the only one who squealed a little when I saw these. A baby s’more covered in chocolate?! Get in mah belly.
I’ve never seen anything quite like these little cones! They’re the perfect size to satisfy that late night sweet tooth.
Taking some time to go to the store to just look around without a grocery list really helped get me out of my food rut and got me excited about creating yummy meals again. If you’re getting bored with your routine or just want to branch out, taking a stroll down the the aisles of your favorite store should do the trick.
Until next month, my friends!
