I have to say that this month is my absolute favorite month.
Kendall, here! Football season is in full swing, food is chock full of all the root veggies, and Target did indeed just role out the holiday home display of my dreams. The best holiday (AKA Turkey Day) and the release of the new Gilmore Girls episodes are right around the corner.
In the words of Rory Gilmore, “I’ll eat to that!”
I think that to work for Hummusapien and not be absolutely obsessed with hummus would be a sin. Good thing Darista Dips feeds my needs with this Moroccan Carrot Hummus! Packed with the perfect kick of carrot goodness, I would eat anything dipped in this stuff.
Dreams do come true in the form of Birch Bender’s Paleo Pancake and Waffle Mix! Talk about healthy fast food—all I have to do is add water and throw ’em on the stove for a satisfying and healthy brekkie before my morning classes.
This dream autumn bevvie is just $2.99 at Whole Foods and has no sugar or funky ingredients added. I warmed up R.W. Knudsen Family’s Cider & Spice over the stove and mixed it with equal parts almond milk and a shot of espresso. Can I get an amen?
My BFFL Nora included a bag of these snacks in my Christmas + birthday present last year. Ever since she’s had me hooked! Go Raw’s Ginger Snap Sprouted Cookies are seriously perfect dipped in PB or crumbled on top of a thick smoothie.
I think I could drink Tessemae’s Balsamic. Okay okay maybe not really, but the number of things I top with this good ish is incredible. Go buy NOW.
If you know me, you know I’m obsessed with any drink I can label “warm & cozy.” Celestial’s The Godfather blend of chia tea, espresso, and cocoa when mixed with warm milk is warm and cozy in a cup!
One evening a few weeks ago, Alexis showed up at Alchemy with the biggest box of goodies (talk about best boss of the century award), and in it were a bunch of Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Oatmeal Cups. I LOVE these lil’ guys. I’m normally not a fan of the texture/flavor of portable oats like these, but believe me when I say these rock. I top them with some sliced banana and almonds and literally eat them on my walk to campus.
That’s all I have for you for now! See you in December where we’ll talk more grocery store finds, Christmas yummies, and gossip about Gilmore Girls.
