Heya, foodie friends! I’m just over here starting to feel verrrrry pregnant.
We’re finally renovating our master bathroom beginning next week and I can’t wait to finally get things settled in the next few months before baby boy arrives this winter!
Bump aside…let’s talk good eats.
Lovely Meals and Snacks Lately
Pancakes with apples, maple syrup and peanut butter! This combo reminds me of a caramel apple.
Enchiladas with a little cheese on top. Obsessed with this recipe!
Whole wheat English muffin sweet and savory style, one with peanut butter, banana and this delish granola and one with avocado plus eggs on the side.
Holy moly…I can’t wait for you to try this apple crumb pie I made! Keep your eyes peeled for the recipe soon.
I was craving my shakshuka with roasted potatoes last weekend and it totally hit the spot.
Taco night! I shared my chickpea walnut taco meat process on IG stories and you pals were all about it.
Rice Chex with chilly almond milk to satisfy my cold and crunchy cereal cravings.
Another batch of almond flour pumpkin bread down the hatch!
We also got baby bok choy that I didn’t know what to do with but it ended up being the perfect green for this soup. A splash of balsamic vinegar at the end really brightens it up.
Paulie Gee’s square pizza…again. It’s a Friday ritual!
Things I’m Loving Lately
WEARING: These bras are so comfy and great for when you want some support but not the compression of a sports bra. They’re for nursing but I’m wearing them now and adore them (kind of like these other bras I wear all the time that are meant for nursing but I got long before being pregnant). I know it’s out of season, but this dress is marked down to 30% off of $16.97 and it’s so easy breezy. I wore this red print with booties and a jean jacket or save for summer. I sized up and it’s a great pregnancy dress and also bought my pre-pregnancy size just to have for later! I also have the navy floral and black leopard.
WATCHING: The Chef Chow and Chef’s Table. I love how down to earth Roy Choi and John Favreau are, and watching them in the kitchen is just so entertaining. Chef’s Table is a beautifully filmed show about the stories of various inspiring chefs from all different backgrounds. The music and cinematography are fantastic. It really touched all of your senses.
LISTENING: This Is Mount Joy on Spotify.
Let me know in the comments the best thing you ate this past week!
