Why hello, my hungry friends!
Kendall here back with 2017’s very first set of grocery store finds and let’s be real… new year, same me. Well, kind of. Same old me hopelessly devoted to roaming the aisles of every food seller in town, and I am 100% okay with it.
While my grocery store enjoyments may not change year to year, in 2017 I hope to adopt a few little habits in my everyday life. I hope to find more patience and love for others, but more importantly for myself.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I had cow’s milk, so I’m always on the lookout for new and yummy dairy-free alternatives like this Flax Milk from Good Karma. Creamy yet light, it’s perfect for cereal, smoothies, and golden milks galore!
These Sea Salt Flackers from Doctor in the Kitchen are so crunchy and savory that I’m kind of freaking out and GET THIS: the only ingredients are organic flax seeds, organic apple cider vinegar, and sea salt.
These Fresh Grilled ArtiHearts from Monterey Farms are a quick and tasty salad game changer! Toss them on and go.
I’ve been seeing these Epic Bars everywhere and as a happy and loyal pescatarian I just had to try the Salmon Epic Bar. I know it sounds weird but you have to try it. It’s like the yummiest jerky you’ll ever consume.
I’m a sucker for good chips and these organic and gluten free Original Black Bean Chips from Beanitos had me weak in the knees. Pair them with Alexis’ stellar Easy Vegan Queso or Buffalo Cauliflower Dip!
If you’ve got good chips you gotta have a little something good to dip them in! Cue this Salsa God Salsa Verde from Casa Maya Salsa. Only the best ingredients and pure, organic techniques were used to make this delectable dip with a kick.
Tea lovers rejoice in this Stomach Ease Tea from Yogi. With warming herbs like fennel, licorice, peppermint, and ginger it’s the perfect pre-bedtime cup of coziness.
Grab these thangs at your local grocery to start your year off with a bang!
