Sarah says
YIKES! FARRO is NOT a gluten free grain! I'd probably use quiona or rice instead but PLEASE correct this.
Katie says
Yes, please do. As someone with Celiac disease, it really bothers me when people claim that certain grains are gluten-free just because they aren't "wheat". Many people are uniformed that wheat is not the only source of gluten; there's also barley, spelt, farro, etc. As a dietitian, I would think you would know this.
Alexis says
Katie, it was an error. I was on auto pilot as so many of the recipes are gluten-free. I hope my readers wouldn't insinuate I'd purposely misinform people or be uneducated about celiac disease--we all make mistakes, after all! It's fixed now.
Alexis says
Thanks, it was a typo and is fixed; you’ll notice nowhere in the original recipe does it say gluten-free.

Bonny says
It is very misleading to say that a recipe made with farro is gluten free. Please don't misinform people.
Lisa says
What am I missing? Where does it say that?
Lisa says
Ah, nevermind. I found the reference.
Alexis says
Didn't mean to be misleading/misinforming--it was a mistake, fixed now.
