I MADE YOU A MENU.Stop doing work! It's holiday week.
I've always wished I could say "I'm going on holiday." It sounds so sweet, doesn't it? Only if you say it in a British accent and have a tres chic cream suitcase, though.
While I'm not hosting the real deal Thanksgiving partay this year, I did host Friendsgiving last week and I had a BALL. I loooove cooking for people and entertaining and having a house to do it in has made it all so much easier. P.S. I said I'd post the house renovation post Thursday but then I realized that's Thanksgiving so you may just have to wait till next week. Eeeeeep!
If I were to have all my lovely friends and family over for the feast, these luscious recipes below would make up my Thanksgiving menu. Ya ya they're healthy shmealthy and whatnot, but they're also nomtastical and not insanely tough to make. Indulge in love, laughter, and all the food this Thursday. That's what this season is all about.
The only thing not on this menu is a really good pumpkin or pecan pie recipe. I shall conquer those next year. Oh, and losta wine! Good thing you don't need a recipe for that.
Pretending I'm celebrating with each and every one of you and sending you seventeen virual hugs. Enjoy!
All the Best Sides:
