  • Method: Oven
  • Cuisine: American

  • 1 cup creamy natural peanut butter
  • 2 overly ripe mashed bananas [about 1 cup]
  • 1/3 cup ground flax seed seed
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp coconut sugar [optional]
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a cookie sheet and set aside.
  2. Mix all the ingredients into a bowl and stir until just combined. If your peanut butter is super thick add a tablespoon of almond milk. Gently stir in chocolate chips. You can use however much you like but I personally think the more the better.
  3. Drop heaping tablespoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. You want them to be slightly underdone.

Feel free to add walnuts or raisins to the batter if you'd like! I've also made these without sugar and they are just as good. Also, you could switch up the nut butter and use almond butter, sunflower butter, or even cashew butter.
