My Favorite Trader Joe's Finds 2017

    Published May 8, 2017 · Modified Feb 14, 2022 · by Alexis Joseph · 38 Comments

    I turn 27 today!

I told Jeff last night that I wholeheartedly believe this will be the best year yet. I wish mostly for joy, but also for growth, for deeper relationships with the people I love, and for humor in the toughest situations. Life is so much better when you can laugh about it.

My present to myself was to not spend my weekend on the computer so if you're looking for a good reflective reads, check out A Letter to You on Hummusapien's Fourth Birthday. Today is also special because it's Kendall's last post. CUE THE TEARS. I'll always love her to the moon and can't wait to see her kill it all her lovely future endeavors!

Hello beautiful humans of the internet! I'm back to talk all things Grocery Store Finds and boy, do I have a treasure trove for you this month. This month's post is not sponsored by Trader Joe's but is instead written out of pure, unadulterated love for the store and its fabulous products.

As you all know, I am a college kid and college kids need to ball on a freakin' budget...cue the biweekly TJ's trips. Even if you aren't on a strict budget like I am, still shop here. Trust me. Trader Joe's sacrifices high price tags but by no means sacrifices the quality of their food, the diversity, or the flat out fun options they provide. Sriracha hummus, anyone?

Without further adieu, here is a short list of my staple Trader Joe's products I simply cannot live without. I've been buying these fun finds for years, so maybe next time I'll catch ya in the aisles!

I think this Mixed Nut Butter is the best thing to happen to me since discovering Costco cashew butter (that they stopped carrying :/). With almonds, cashews, walnuts, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, and pecans the flavor is so unique and luxurious.

Organic Roasted Vegetable Pizza imported from Italy...Need I say more?

If you won't pick up a little bag of these Dark Chocolate PB Cups at the checkout line we probably won't be friends. I know, dramatic, but stick 'em in the freezer and pop one (or two) when you need chocolate and you'll understand.

As soon as we're running slightly low on pasta, we make a special trip to TJ's specifically to grab more of this Organic Brown Rice & Quinoa Fusilli Pasta. The flavor and texture can't be beat!

I have this thing with coconut, and this Organic Toasted Coconut Granola is so magical it has the power to turn every yogurt, oatmeal, ice cream, and sweet potato it meets into a fairytale.

Speaking of coconut, the Coconut Creamer is the best non-dairy creamer I've found! It is actually creamy and a douse of this makes my normally black cup o' joe absolutely delicious.

Riced Cauliflower has become such a thing, so of course Trader Joe's made us an easy, affordable alternative to rice-ing our own in a food processor. Try it in this Easy Vegetable Teriyaki Stir Fry!

This is simply the best chocolate I have every had. Smooth, rich, and delicate, go out and get yourself The Dark Chocolate Lover's Chocolate Bar like right now.

Organic Ginger Turmeric Herbal Tea is my favorite tea! I am sensing a trend with the word "favorite"... but seriously. I love sipping on this in the morning for a little boost of energy and also at night for a warm and cozy feeling.

Vegetable Fried Rice is a busy college kid's saving grace, and amazingly tasty to boot!

The Organic Vegetarian Chili is so hearty and flavorful. I've  been sucking it down on these plentiful rainy Ohio spring days.

When two of the best things in life unite, what can go wrong?! Sriracha Hummus is what's on my eggs, my chips, my carrots, and my chicken.

Happy May and feast away! XOXO, Kendall
