It's been a wild week for us all. I know we're all experiencing the repercussions of the virus differently. I have you all in my hearts and given the state of our restaurants, I appreciate (and depend on) your support of this space more than ever.
It is very difficult to wrap my brain around the fact that this is all so out of our control. The only thing we can control right now is our reaction, our mindset.
I'll be writing more about how to stay positive amidst so many challenges, but for now, I encourage you to continue moving your body---for mental well-being more than anything. I'm loving my best friend Simi's virtual barre classes and free Youtube workout videos.
Given more people are at home cooking, I figured it was a great time to share some approachable recipes using pantry staples. The fiber found in plants feeds our "good" gut bacteria, and 70% of our immunity is in the gut.
I realize that being at home and having the ability to practice social distancing is a luxury right now. Jeff still has to go to the office every day, along with people working in health care facilities, grocery stores, banks, and beyond.
Stay healthy, friends.
