By the way, I know it's been next to forever since I posted a recipe. Be sure to come back tomorrow for a super tasty one! For breakfast I slurped down my usual blueberry chocolate green smoothie sans the avocado plus hemp with a scoop of Skoop (hehe) protein powder. I NEVER put protein powder in smoothies because I hate the texture, but this was shockingly different. Skoop is a new plant-based protein powder made with non-GMO brown rice and pea protein. It has a super great taste and texture, not at all like that chalky stuff that you're probably used to. I was so impressed with the protein powder that I decide I wanted to sell it myself since I get asked over and over what kinds of protein powders I like. If you're interested in buying Skoop, click here. Since I knew I wasn't eating lunch till late, I packed a couple little protein bars. I left out the peppermint and used chocolate MCT Lean vegan protein powder...amazing!! And no, I'm not being paid to tell you I like these products. These are my honest opinions about some truly awesome protein powders! I swear I'm not usually such a protein fiend, either. I'm just trying to plow through all these samples! I also snacked on some delish roasted hemp seeds. Ziggy Marley's Organics sent me some samples for possible retail at Alchemy. Warning: they're completely and utterly addicting. Lunch was Indian food from the North Market including chana masala, cabbage and peas, and a pea potato mixture. Allllllll the peas! And all the carbs. I could eat Indian food all day every day, my friends. I came home from work starving my butt off, so I snacked on some cucumbers with hummus and hot sauce and then some Finn crisps with more hummus because all I eat is hummus. I may have nibbled on another chocolate protein bar too because lezbereal, they taste like cookies. After Body Pump I shoved a chickpea flour breakfast pizza (made with a tablespoon of nutritional yeast added to the batter) in my face complete with a side of roasted broccoli. Before bed I noshed on a whole wheat English muffin (the Vermont Bakery brand from Whole Foods) smeared with peanut buttahhh.
