Good morning, beautiful people of the foodie-sphere!
I say “morning” because I am writing this post at 7 a.m. from my sunbathed dining room, and I say “good” because I am home in Cleveland with friends for the weekend. I can hear the sizzling of my mom making her world famous omelettes from the kitchen, so in fact, great morning!
Mornings like these make me think “why in the hell do we (talking to myself, especially) let ourselves spend so much time worrying, analyzing, and stressing when we know that no matter what there are going to be gorgeous mornings, friends to share them with, and people who will willingly make you breakfast?” Wherever you find yourselves reading this month’s grocery store finds, mothers lovingly whipping you up an omelette or not, I hope you find time in your day to just enjoy. Think about that compliment you got on a project at work, that A you got on your stats exam last week, and that friend who dances like an awkward baby giraffe with complete release. Or go to the market to pick up that heavenly pasta you’ve been eyeing for months.
Think happy, live happy, work happy, and ESPECIALLY grocery shop happy. Here are a few things that have made me take time to enjoy this month!
