So I read this quote once (on Pinterest, duh) that said, “life is a combination of magic and pasta.”
A beauteous thought…but I tend to disagree. For us muggles, life is pasta. Pasta.is.LIFE!
Now, if they were referring to the magic that happens in my mouth when I devour a big steaming bowl of noodles (or zoodles!) in seven minutes flat—then I get it. I get it real good. Believe me when I say that by no means do you need to be vegan to enjoy vegan pasta dishes! Countless studies have suggested that cutting back on animal products can help improve your healthy in a bajillion ways, from weight management and decreased blood pressure to lowered risk of countless chronic diseases. Some believe that going meatless gives you wings, but those studies are still inconclusive. Even going meat-free for just one or two days a week can change your life. Pinky swear.
When I think pasta, I think chowing down with friends and fam on hearty noodles layered with decadent sauces and toppings. Sounds pretty great…errrr, unhealthy, right? Wrong! Pasta nights with the besties don’t have to mean a break from your healthy eating habits.
