    18 Vegan Desserts for Breakfast

    Published Jun 22, 2015 Β· Modified Sep 6, 2022 Β· by Alexis Joseph Β· 12 Comments

Sometimes I wake up and I'm all like, okay...I could totally chug a blueberry-cacao-acai-banana-kale-hemp-goji-chia bowl right now; but I'd be equally okay swan-diving into a molten lava cake.

    acai bowl

Made with raw cacao, of course. Or not.

Why not have the best of both worlds? The blogosphere absolutes LOVES turning dessert into totally acceptable breakfast fare. Brownie batter oatmeal. Reese's breakfast cookies. Cake batter breakfast bars. Add the word "breakfast" to pretty much any treat and it's immediately healthy! Er.

So is it breakfast or is it dessert? That is the question. Well my friends, it's both. It's so beautiful.

Cheers to sprinkles on your pancakes, chocolate chippers in your oats, and making 5am salted almond dark chocolate bar binges totally a thing.

That first photo is looking very tempting, the chocolate pudding with bananas and cacao nibs on top. Is that one of the recipes listed or a random creation?
