The 13 Most Humbelievable Recipes of 2013

    Published Dec 27, 2013 Β· Modified Mar 7, 2022 Β· by Alexis Joseph Β· 56 Comments

Before I leave all you lovelies for a week (womp womp), I thought I'd give you a little taste or three of the most popular Hummusapien recipes of 2013!

top 13It's going to be super weird being away from both the kitchen and this little bloggy poo for an entire week, but I must say that I honestly cannot freaking WAIT to let go of technology. I may just throw my phone in the ocean---after I Instagram the crystal clear water, of course. If you know me at all, you know that I'm pretty much incapable of relaxing...so being forced into relaxation in the middle of the ocean cruising to the Bahamas sounds miiiiighty fine to me.

Adios, mobile unit. It's been real.

The funny thing about these 13 recipes is that though they're the most popular when it comes to total views, most of these aren't even my most beloved Hummusapien creations! Don't get me wrong--there are definitely a few faves in there, while a few others probably landed in there because of some freaky viral Pinterest party or because of a buzzword like "vegan" and "paleo." Shocking.  I mean anyone who's anyone is demonizing gluten these days, no?

I can hardly believe this humbelievable year is coming to an end. Where does the time goooooo?? Time truly flies when you're procrastibaking. Here are a few of my absolute fave must-read non-recipe posts of 2013:

    1. Life Lessons: On Beer and Kale
    2. On Bagels: If Not Now, Then When?
    3. Year in Review: My All-Time Fave Self Posts

Who woulda thunk that the most popular recipe would be lasagna stuffed with tofu and hummus?? Hashtag vegan, baby. Ha!

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR! I love you all to pieces.
