Remember my almond butter obsession? Well that’s still going strong, as is my current pumpkin addiction.
I made this smoothie yesterday (followed by a pumpkin raisin bagel obvi) and it was beyond delish. Creamy, pumpkin spiced perfection. The key is to not skimp on the spices and make sure to blend it until it’s nice and creamy. Besides the fact that it tastes like a dream, it also sneakily delivers two servings of fruit plus a serving of veggies. Go BIG on that handful of spinach. Handful is kind of an understatement.
The chia seeds add healthy fats for gorg hair and skin plus a whopping 5 grams of fiber for staying powder. Because they soak up liquid like a sponge, they give the smoothie a nice thick texture. No one likes a thin smoothie. Adding too much almond milk to a smoothie is criminal. Don’t become a victim. I guessed on the one cup measurement, so you may want to start with less.
160 calories and 11 grams of fiber? I’m in.
Like the amount of pumpkin in my pantry right now is embarrassing. Who really needs 10 cans of pumpkin? Um, I do. Wanna know why? So I can make all of these. Like yesterday.
